Atmpc01_3v3 is a high temperature alarm circuit. When the chip temperature rises over the high threshold temperature (133°C approx) an OVT (active high) signal is activated. The signal stays active as long as the die temperature is above the low-temperature threshold (Tₗ). If the chip temperature falls below the low threshold temperature, the output signal turns low again. A hysteresis of 7°C (approx) is provided for stable operation. The high threshold temperature level (Tₕ) is chosen to indicate a proper operation of the monitored circuit up to 125°C.
